Furniture recycling
We offer a recycling service for all end-of-life furniture, not just for our clients, but for any organisation that is looking to dispose of its furniture responsibly.
Using reverse logistics, we collect unwanted furniture and bring it back to Sustain. The pieces are carefully dismantled, and the components are segregated into five waste streams: plastic, wood, metal, foam and textiles. If furniture has plenty of life left in it, the client has the option of donating it to charity through our Wishlist programme.

For every furniture recycling project, Sustain will provide you with a certificate of the total number of items recycled, the total weight, what was donated through the Wishlist Scheme, and your carbon emission savings. This will help you support your ESG goals and help with the vital evidence you need to provide in the war against green washing.
The raw materials are fed back into the supply chain, to begin life again as new products. From pet bedding to underground pipes, to park benches and new product componentry, we ensure that nothing ends up in landfill.
